Paris Fashion Week: Dior sculpts romance in 65 looks
At Paris Fashion Week, Dior unveiled its Fall/Winter 2026 collection, an ode to structured romanticism where couture becomes movement. On the runway, the 65 looks created a silhouette of tension: skirts with asymmetrical ruffles, scalloped plumetis tulle, pleated ivory dresses with airy volume, and precisely cinched bouclé knit jackets.
Some creations seem to draw from a plant-based imagination. The corolla-like overlays, the rounded volumes and the moss green skirts evoke suspended petals, almost water lilies floating on the surface of a pond — a poetry that is reminiscent of the atmosphere of Parisian gardens, and in particular that of the Tuileries.
The palette — powdery ivory, stone grey, moss green, deep black — lets the fabric speak for itself. Lace, raised floral embroidery and plays of transparency capture the light, while architectural lines frame the fluidity of the cascading skirts.
Blending couture heritage with textured modernity, Dior presents an Autumn/Winter 2026 collection conceived as a study in volume and contrast. A delicate yet assertive femininity, romantic without ever sacrificing structure—the very essence of the house reinterpreted for today.
