“Midnight at New York”: Elie Saab unveils his Autumn-Winter 2026-2027 collection at Paris Fashion Week

At Paris Fashion Week, Elie Saab presents “Midnight at New York” , his Autumn-Winter 2026-2027 ready-to-wear collection. Inspired by the effervescence of the New York art scene of the 1990s, the collection imagines a woman who is intellectual, seductive and profoundly contemporary.

The stylistic proposition revolves around two complementary worlds: a structured and powerful wardrobe for the day, and an artistic glamour for the night.

The daytime wardrobe showcases architectural silhouettes where jackets with rounded shoulders and cinched waists sculpt a confident look, accentuated by exaggerated hips. Skirts adopt tulip volumes or sheath lines, while trousers stretch to extreme lengths or come in elegant cigarette cuts. Cut from wool, tweed, or velvet, in deep shades of midnight black and charcoal gray, these pieces compose a precise and modern wardrobe. The signature crocodile print punctuates the collection, adding texture and character.

As night falls, the silhouette transforms. The Elie Saab woman becomes an artistic muse, enveloped in muslin and organza draped as if improvised in the atelier. Lush, hand-painted flowers on mirrored leather evoke the painterly gestures of Cy Twombly. The crocodile motif reappears on sequined tulle, while lace and layering accentuate the dramatic dimension of the silhouettes.
